Scale RC trucks · crawlers · trail runs

Small trucks, slow lines, proper grip.

A personal page about RC off-road models: a blue G-Class style truck, a lifted trail crawler, a classic Range Rover body and the usual garage notes after short weekend runs.

Garage lineup: scale bodies, crawler tires, roof gear and trail setup.

Garage

G-Class style truck

A scale SUV body with wide stance, detailed front end and all-terrain tires.

Trail crawler

Lifted chassis, roof rack, recovery gear and tires aimed at slow technical lines.

Classic body

A simple old-school off-road look, good for light trails and body-detail projects.

Trail notes

Low speed is part of the point: throttle control matters more than top speed.
Wet ground is fun, but drivetrain cleaning is mandatory after muddy sessions.
Small changes in tires, weight distribution and suspension setup are easy to feel on rocks and roots.

Maintenance checklist

Before running

Check steering, wheel nuts, battery voltage, body clips and radio response.

After wet runs

Dry the chassis, clean the links, inspect bearings and remove mud from moving parts.

Storage

Disconnect batteries, keep the body clean and avoid long-term tire deformation.
